Boots on the Ground

Tommy's campaign is based on a simple principle: Boots on the Ground.

Between now and Election Day, Tommy will be out on the road listening to voters and working side by side with the people in the 28 counties of Missouri's Eighth. You can follow his travels in photos below:

MISSOURI'S EIGHTH DISTRICT

The 8th Congressional District includes 28 rural counties in southeast Missouri. While visually stunning, it is the 8th poorest Congressional District, ranks dead last for female median income and over 1/4 of children live in families under the federal poverty line. Manufacturing, once strong in many of the district’s small towns, has largely moved overseas. It is a district that votes for person over
party and contains over seventy thousand veterans.
